Overdose: A Major Cause of Preventable Death in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia

With August 31 marked as International Overdose Awareness Day, health advocates in Eastern Europe and Central Asia are calling on governments, medical providers, and donor agencies to take urgent action to control an epidemic of drug overdose deaths in the region.
