In partnership with Yale University, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation hosts the 2010 Open Educational Resources Grantees Meeting. The theme of the meeting will be "Open Educational Resources in Policy, Views from Around the World," which reflects the dramatic increase in interest in OER among international policy makers in the past year.
Senior Information Program Manager Melissa Hagemann chairs a panel on sharing goals across countries in international OER policy, which will also feature Berkman Fellow and OSI grantee Carolina Rossini. Participants at the conference include Hal Plotkin, Senior Policy Adviser at the US Department of Education, as well as senior members of the OER community from Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
