Join us for the next event in OSI-Baltimore’s “Learning about Learning” forum series. Ivory A. Toldson will discuss his work on educating African American young men, and also address the school-to-prison pipeline that disproportionately affects this population in Baltimore City public schools.
Toldson is the associate professor of counseling and psychology in the Department of Human Development and Psycheducational Studies at the Howard University School of Education, senior research analyst for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, and editor-in-chief of The Journal of Negro Education.
That same day, join us for the next event in our “Talking About Race” series. Ivory A. Toldson and Raymond Winbush will address the broader issue of helping black males achieve academic success.
