Amplifying Voices

This second issue of Amplifying Voices magazine focuses on Uganda. It is now three years since the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa became involved in Uganda.

This issue of the magazine documents our work shaping public policy to promote respect for human rights and the rule of law in Uganda. It analyzes challenges that hinder the promotion of open society principles in our environment, especially in the lead up to the parliamentary and presidential elections in 2011.
