Adult Education for Social Justice: Training of Trainers for Southeast Europe

Supported by OSI's Roma Education Initiative and organized by the Pedagogical Center of Montenegro (PCCG), the Step by Step program NGO in Montenegro, this training event was designed for Southeastern European participants. Having already participated in Modules 1 and 2 of the Adult Education for Social Justice Program, participants were trained as trainers themselves, enabling them to present this program in their own language and within their own context(s). Forty-four people from six countries were expected to attend.

The final in a series of three events, the workshop was conducted by the following international experts:

  • Nancy Jean Smith (USA), associate professor specializing in teacher education and multilingual/multicultural education, California State University-Stanislaus;
  • Zorica Trikic (Serbia), psychologist and pedagogue, master teacher trainer for the Center for Interactive Pedagogy (CIP), Serbia;
  • Jelena Vranjasevic (Serbia), psychologist and CIP board member;
  • Margit Koczor (Hungary), psychologist and consultant to Ec Pec Alapitvany (SBS NGO).
