Ed Kashi s photographic series Aging in America, which was featured in OSI's third Moving Walls exhibit, in spring 2000, explores the unprecedented strains that have followed in the aftermath of the longevity revolution. With support from OSI’s Project on Death in America, Kashi and writer Julie Winokur created a book of the same title, compiling photographs and essays examining innovative approaches to the end stages of life.

Selections from Kashi's Aging in America are on display as part of the exhibit The Body at Risk at the International Center of Photography, December 9, 2005, to February 26, 2006.
