This two-day training was held for program staff involved in Roma Education Initiative projects. Previous experience with the Special Schools Initiative showed that such training was necessary as a first step toward effective work in Roma communities.
The workshop introduced participants to the theory and practice of Education for Social Justice for Adults. The program was developed by OSI New York and field-tested in East/Central Europe for three years.
Facilitators: Nancy Jean Smith and Edgar Lampkin.
