BarCamp Baltics 2008 is one of the biggest new media events of the year in Eastern and Central Europe. The event will unite more than 300 participants who are interested in new media, blogging, social software, etc. All of them will convene in Riga to meet, present, and discuss.
Some financial aid is available for participants from developing countries. The main working languages of the event will be Russian and English. The format of the event will follow that of an "un-conference," relying on peer-learning as a platform.
