The Building Bridges Dinner Series brings together a network of diverse leaders in Baltimore aiming to develop strong relationships across racial and geographic lines and to create a more inclusive Baltimore. The May 17 dinner, which was held at the Church of the Redeemer, focused on the local implications of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Brown vs. Board of Education. Speakers will include Andre M. Davis, a U.S. District Court judge for the District of Maryland, and Ralph E. Moore Jr., the director of St. Francis Academy’s Community Center. The discussion was moderated by Clinton Bamberger, professor emeritus at the University of Maryland School of Law and founding national director of the Legal Services Program of the United States Office of Economic Opportunity.
