The Open Society Institute Youth Initative’s Debate Program supported a series of international debates in the United States in spring 2009. The series culminated in a round-robin invitational sponsored in part by the Open Society Institute and organized by the International Debate Education Association and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
Debaters from eight universities and six countries put on a public exhibition debate in "World Style," the most popular format of debate.
