The Donor Information Meeting on Education Reform in Montenegro, organized by the Ministry of Education in Montenegro, in cooperation with the Open Society Institute; Task Force Education and Youth of the "Enhanced Graz Process," Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, Working Table 1; and UNDP Serbia and Montenegro, took place in Brussels on April 16, 2003.
The meeting provided an initial opportunity to:
- present mid- and long-term priorities of education reform in Montenegro, such as institution building, curriculum reform, textbook development and publishing, teacher training, infrastructure and introduction of ICT in the education system;
- discuss ongoing and future support by the international donor community; and
- identify existing gaps in education reform, where external support would be needed most urgently.
