The Drafting New Curricula Workshop was organized by the International Bureau for Education UNESCO and the Center for Educational Policy Studies, and cosponsored by the Office of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO and Open Society Education Programs South East Europe. The purpose was to share information and provide analysis of contemporary trends in curriculum development (supported by case studies and examples of good practices in some countries of the region as well as from outside the region). Also discussed were the concrete needs of South Eastern European countries in curriculum renewal.
