Organized and funded by the Roma Education Initiative (REI), this final international team meeting involved members of the initiative's seven grant-supported projects in Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Participants included REI managers, pedagogues, partner Roma NGOs, and external evaluators.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide closure to the project and to support countries in their future endeavors through the Roma Education Fund or other initiatives. The meeting focused on documentation of practice, exchange of experience, evaluation, and REI's future role in relevant countries and in the Decade of Roma Inclusion.
The event was hosted by the Pedagogical Center of Montenegro at Hotel Maestral in Milocer, Montenegro.
