Charles M. Blow, New York Times op-ed columnist, will join us to talk about his own extraordinary life story—growing up in segregated, impoverished Louisiana. Shawn Dove, director of Open Society’s Campaign for Black Male Achievement will serve as moderator.
This event is part of Open Society Institute–Baltimore’s Talking About Race series, co-sponsored by the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
The event is free and open to the public.
