The Future of Equality, Liberty, and the U.S. Constitution (July 7, 2009)

Note: Due to technical difficulties the event recording, while audible, has an echo throughout.

The past five years have witnessed the formation of a scholarly movement to lay out a clear vision of the U.S. Constitution. Two new books—Keeping Faith with the Constitution and The Constitution in 2020presented an opportunity for a gathering of scholars and activists to discuss the ideas that undergird our democracy and shape our laws: equality, liberty, criminal justice, and governmental powers.
