The Criminal Justice Program hosted a forum featuring Patricia Allard and Imani Walker on "Invisible Punishment: Collateral Consequences of Denying Welfare Benefits to Women Convicted of Drug Offenses". Patricia Allard is a criminal justice policy analyst at The Sentencing Project, and the author of "Life Sentences: Denying Welfare Benefits to Women Convicted of Drug Offenses." Imani Walker works at The Rebecca Project, a legal and policy advocacy project for low income mothers who are in recovery from substance abuse.
