The Summer Model Partnership was launched as a joint initiative between Baltimore’s After School Strategy, Baltimore City Public Schools, and the Center for Summer Learning to promote increased collaboration between schools and youth development agencies over the summer months. Hosted by OSI-Baltimore and co-sponsored by After School Strategy, the forum will focus on findings from the initiative, the prevention of summer learning loss, and the coordination of programming between schools and enrichment providers.

Panelists from the following organizations will participate in the forum: Johns Hopkins University s Center for Summer Learning, The After-School Institute, Baltimore City Public Schools, Patterson High School, YMCA of Central Maryland, and the Safe and Sound Campaign.

This event is part of Forging Open Society: Generating Ideas, Partnerships and Solutions, a series of forums convened by OSI-Baltimore to encourage community leaders with diverse perspectives to craft solutions to challenges facing the Baltimore region.
