The Open Society Institute cohosts a congressional briefing on key LGBTI challenges and opportunities in Africa, in cooperation with representatives Tammy Baldwin, Barney Frank, Jared Polis, and Barbara Lee.

Recent developments in Africa have catalyzed progress and highlighted obstacles in the struggle for global equality and access to health services for groups vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.  Distinguished panelists from the frontlines in Africa will report on the key challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
