This donor collaboration meeting was designed to educate sexual health and rights advocates regarding individual program parameters and to explore how donors in the field can improve communication and collaboration to make their work more effective and complementary. Discussion followed each presentation and the group found this mechanism to be an effective way to explore meeting objectives. Participants decided on a list of steps to be taken, which include creation of a listserv for information relevant to the group, circulation of grants lists and recommendations for grantees doing innovative work, potential future meetings, and a newsletter to update participants about interesting meetings and events. Meeting notes are available for download below.
