New Orleans is a city that knows hard work, dedication, and perseverance and shows no sign of wavering in the face of new challenges. While the BP oil spill crisis has posed the latest challenge to the region, there are tangible opportunities for building partnerships to sustain the gains that have been made and strengthen the infrastructure necessary to facilitate New Orleans's full recovery.
This event looks at how local and national philanthropic communities have sustained investment in New Orleans and opportunities for further investment in the region, as well as new potential for relationships between Mayor Landrieu's administration and the philanthropic sectors in New Orleans and New York.
