For the past ten years, Jonathan Moller has photographed communities uprooted by war in Guatemala.His new book, Our Culture Is Our Resistance (powerHouse Books, 2004), is a collection of portraits that not only documents the faces and events associated with Guatemala's history, but also displays the humanity and dignity of its largely Mayan indigenous population.
Moller whose work has been widely shown, including in OSI's Moving Walls Seven exhibition participated in a booksigning at Redux Gallery in New York City, where photographs from the collection were also on display.
