In April 2004, Daylight Community Arts Foundation sent a number of disposable cameras to be distributed to Iraqi citizens in Baghdad and Falluja. First published in Daylight Magazine (Issue 2), these photo-historical records represent a unique and human perspective on the war in Iraq. The resulting images are on view in "Photographs by Iraqi Civilians, 2004," a traveling exhibition curated by Pixel Press and made possible by an Open Society Institute DiscretionaryGrant.
The exhibition has been shown at venues including New York University, Union College, the Council on Foreign Relations, Michigan University, Central Michigan University, Roosevelt College, and The Hospital (UK).
