Quo Vadis: Ukraine? A Conversation with Two Leading Experts (September 14, 2015)

Oleksandr Sushko, chair of the board of the International Renaissance Foundation in Ukraine, and Balazs Jarabik, a visiting scholar on Ukraine and Eastern Europe at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, critically examine the state of reforms in Ukraine today and debate the recent policy brief that Balazs has penned.

Speakers

  • Balázs Jarábik is a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where his research focuses on Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Read his recent report on Ukraine.
  • Oleksandr Sushko has been working as the research director at the Institute For Euro-Atlantic Cooperation (Kyiv) since June 2006. Prior to this, he worked as director of the Center for Peace, Conversion, and Foreign Policy of Ukraine.
  • Leonard Benardo (moderator) is the regional director for Eurasia at the Open Society Foundations.
