This workshop—organized by the Knowledge Society Management Institute of the Law University of Lithuania, the E-Governance Academy (Estonia), and the Hansard Society (Great Britain)—focused on the subject of public online consultations. Held on May 18 and 19, it was designed for civil servants and policy makers of former Soviet Union countries and from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The purpose of the workshop was to introduce public online consultation methods and provide workshop participants with theoretical and practical knowledge, which is necessary for applying these methods in participant countries.
