Organized by the OSI-supported IEDC Bled School of Management, this two-week course targeted young people who recently have assumed management positions and need to complement and upgrade their professional competence with management knowledge and skills.
Knowledge and Skills
The Young Managers Program provides an overview of the main fields of management and managerial skills, including finance and accounting, marketing, leadership, business strategy, team building, and business communication.
Practice
The program emphasizes the analysis of real-life business problems and situations. Participants learn to apply the newly learned concepts to solve their own business challenges.
Networks
Learning in a highly international environment offers excellent opportunities to establish business contacts with people from the East and West. In previous years participants from 36 countries have added to the program's multicultural flavor.
Due to increased interest two sections of the 2005 Young Managers Program have been organized:
Section 1
July 3 15, 2005
For applicants with up to five years of work experience.
Section 2
July 10 22, 2005
For applicants with more than five years of work experience.
