Daniel Sachs is CEO and member of the board of Proventus AB, a family owned investment company. He is also the founder and CEO of Proventus Capital Management, the leading non-bank corporate lender in Northern Europe, providing development capital through loans and bonds to European mid-sized companies.
Sachs has held a number of managerial roles and board positions in public as well as private companies throughout Europe. Through the Daniel Sachs Foundation, he is engaged in openness, culture, diversity, and democratic development. After initiating the “Höj Rösten” youth vote mobilization campaign, he has recently founded a nonpartisan political school to get new and different voices into established politics. Sachs is a member of the panel of senior advisors to the Royal Institute of International Affairs at Chatham House and also a councilmember and member of the board of the European Council on Foreign Relations. He was elected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and sits on its Global Agenda Council on the Future of Banking. Sachs is engaged in the arts as chairman of the board of the Swedish National Theatre and as a member of the Sotheby’s Council. He is also active in ﬁlm production.
Sachs holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
