A Roma Education Initiative Policy Discussion Paper, Combating Educational Deprivation of Roma Children articulates the guiding principles as well as policy recommendations related to the education of Romani children. The paper was used as a basis for OSI's paper Education Policies for Roma: A Way Forward, which was distributed at the World Bank/OSI conference "Roma in an Expanding Europe" in June 2003.
