Fact Sheet on Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV

  • Date
  • 2004

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the most common opportunistic infections afflicting people with HIV around the world. This fact sheet, which is geared toward HIV-positive patients and their caregivers, provides basic information regarding TB, including prevention, symptoms, and treatment.

This document was produced by OSI grantee Treatment Action Campaign, a South African NGO, based on an initial document developed by Gay Men's Health Crisis in New York City. It was modified for global distribution by OSI and members of the TB/HIV working group of the Stop TB Partnership.
