The Global Plan to Stop Tuberculosis

  • Date
  • 2002

A comprehensive business plan that details the mechanisms and activities already in place and the resources urgently needed to control tuberculosis: expanding the current TB strategy so that all people with TB have access to effective treatment; adapting it to meet the challenges of HIV and drug resistant TB; and developing new and better diagnostic tools, drugs, and vaccines.

Commissioned by OSI, the publication was produced with assistance from over 150 experts in the TB community and has been endorsed by the World Health Organization, the World Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Key partners in organizing and writing the report were Partners in Health and the Stop TB Partnership.

The report is available in PDF format.
