Innovative Financing for Education

This working paper discusses the potential role of innovative financing in the education sector. It was prepared following a meeting convened at the Open Society Institute-New York at which experts from the health, finance, and education sectors gathered to discuss mechanisms and approaches to increase funding for global education. The meeting and this document served as a catalyst for subsequent processes and analysis to develop ideas and innovative financing mechanisms in the education sector.
