Joint Appeal on Kenyan Counterterrorism Abuses

The Open Society Justice Initiative has joined five other groups in an appeal over counterterrorism-linked abuses in Kenya to both the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights.  

In addition to the Justice Initiative, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Haki Africa, Justice Forum and MUHURI are calling for both bodies to take appropriate steps to address recent and ongoing violations.
