Minority Rights Center Newsletter 2007

Open Society grantee the Minority Rights Center, a human rights and legal services NGO based in Belgrade, Serbia, has launched the 2007 newsletter of the League for the Roma Decade. The League is a collaboration of civil society NGOs established to monitor and advocate on the financing and implementation of the Decade of Roma Inclusion in Serbia. The Minority Rights Center took the lead in forming the Roma Rights Health Coalition, currently acting as the League's advisory board for health.

The newsletter includes a special section on barriers to access to health care faced by the Roma population in Serbia and activities of state institutions implementing the Health Action Plan for Roma.
