Multicultural Education and the Education of Minority Pupils

  • Date
  • February 1999

This draft policy paper from OSI-Budapest's Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) focuses on the education of minority children and multicultural education. It is the first contribution to the evolution of an overall framework of educational policy for the OSI network.

The matters considered in this paper include equity, gender, community education, democracy in education, textbook design, and teacher training. Multicultural Education and the Education of Minority Pupils is part of a process intended to produce a suite of policy documents which, taken together, offer a framework of ideas to guide and support the relevant activity of the foundations.
