Local approaches, city-wide strategies, and government policy are all critical in enabling migrants to integrate, contribute, and prosper in urban areas, but how can we build inclusive communities at a time of economic strain and heated national debate on immigration? 

At a recent event, a panel of experts discussed the role of practical and local initiatives in promoting migrant integration, contribution, and participation in a shared society.

The panel highlighted good practices from across the United Kingdom and the Cities of Migration international collection “Good Ideas in Integration,” which seeks to improve local integration practice in cities across the world.
