Wolfgang Kaleck

Wolfgang Kaleck is a leading German lawyer and human rights activist who has spent more than two decades involved in the global struggle to hold powerful people and governments accountable for abuses. He is the founder of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights in Berlin, an organization partly funded by the Open Society Foundations that has prepared numerous important legal actions against politicians, military leaders, and corporations for crimes against humanity.
