The Baron Edmond de Rothschild Chemical Dependency Institute of Beth Israel Medical Center in New York sponsored a two-day conference designed primarily for physicians practicing in the U.S. and Canada.
Conference topics included pharmacological considerations, clinical initiatives, research, and regulatory issues. Participants who were interested in meeting U.S. federal certification requirements to prescribe Buprenorphine were able to participate in the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) training which was offered in conjunction with the conference.
