Larry Diamond, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, served as a senior adviser to the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad advising on issues related to the political transition in Iraq from January to March 2004. He discussed the possiblities for stabilization and democracy amidst the ongoing conflict in Iraq.
