Highlights From the Open Society Campaign for Black Male Achievement’s Second Transformational Leadership Retreat
The Open Society Campaign for Black Male Achievement recently partnered with the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to host its second Transformational Leadership Retreat.
The retreat was facilitated by Melinda Weekes of the Interactive Institute for Social Change and included special guest speaker Alonzo Mourning from Alonzo Mourning Charities. Close to 70 social justice leaders connected, recharged, and envisioned innovative ways to effectively respond to the opportunities to improve and increase opportunities for black men and boys in America.
