Sasha Abramsky on the Voices of Poverty
At a recent event, journalist Sasha Abramsky discussed his multimedia project, the Voices of Poverty. The project explores who is poor in the United States and why and how poverty manifests itself in the lives of individuals and communities. It also looks at how overlapping issues such as health care, wages, employment, housing, education, and location impact people’s finances, necessitating thoughtful policy responses.
