This report, produced by the World Response Consultancy with support from the Open Society Institute's Access to Essential Medicines Initiative, assesses the pharmaceutical purchasing practices of Global Fund recipients in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In particular, the report looks at factors that affect the procurement of antiretroviral medicines and substitution therapy medicines under Global Fund grants, evaluates the experiences of the principal grant recipient with the Global Fund Price Reporting Mechanism Tool, and includes data on the prices paid for these medicines.
